Inter-School Cross Country update as at 8:41am

The track is now very slippery and the drizzle is set to continue I want to leave it another hour for full confirmation but its not looking to good.  If we do go ahead today we will need to make changes.
These changes are:
  • children come prepared to get a wet with warm clothes to put on afterwards.
  • no walking the course at 11am so schools do not need to arrive until 12pm
  • no prizegiving at the end of the day.
  • once runners have completed their event they may leave and results will be emailed to your school.
  • we will have a briefing at 12.15pm and the first race will start at 12.30pm.
  • we will be trying to get through the event quite quickly so if spectators are coming make sure they are here by 12.30pm.
  • There will be no barbecue

We will keep you all updated as soon as we have confirmation.

Pet day information

The weather is looking great.

Those with trailers dropping off calves, Ponies and multiple lambs, can you please come in via the far gate on Union Line. There will be a cone out on the road marking the entrance. Those with trailers can drive to the far end of the field to where lambs, calves and ponies can be tied up.

The attached timetable is approximate and we will attempt to stay to the time. Sometimes we are able to move more quickly through the event which will bring other sections forward.

There are cake stalls and BBQ so bring along your coins for a treat.

There are ART displays in each class and we will keep classes open all next week before and after school for you to come and check out the amazing student’s art.

Missing Property

Afternoon All,

We just want to bring to everyone’s attention that we are having some trouble with property going missing out of others bags. All teachers are talking to classes about this and we are working on ways to make sure things don’t go missing. We are asking that if you have pencil cases, felt pens, colouring pencils that are not your child/childrens coming home that we would appreciate if it was dropped back into the office.
