Year 4,5,6,7,8 Cricket Festival

Students took home notices about a Cricket Festival next week. If your child/children have a form to complete can you please do this online so we know where we are at with transport. We have entered two Year 4,5,6 teams and 1 Year 7/8 Team.

First race for Sth Mak individuals is at 10.05 and races go in 5 min waves from there.
Team races start at 11.00.

Swimming sports for years 4-8

The Swimming sports for years 4-8 are on at the Marton Pool tomorrow.

The first race will start at 10 am and we will be finished by 1 pm.

We are looking forward to seeing you there.

Thank you to those who have offered transport, we will leave school at 9.30 am.

The race schedule is as follows:

All ½ length and length races to be timed, each race is a final. Where there is more than 1 race in a year group, placings will be decided on times.

Interschool Triathlon Wednesday 17 March

The Inter-school triathlon is also on next week.

This is a competitive event and we are allowed to select 5 boys and 5 girls from years 5, 6, 7, and 8 to compete. If your child wishes to compete can you please let me know by tomorrow morning and I can organise the entries. Please indicate if you are able to help with transport and supervision on the day.

Where: Freyberg Community Pool & Skoglund Park, Palmerston North.

Event Time:
10.30am – 3.00pm
– Intermediate (Y7 & Y8) from 10.30am until 12:30pm
– Primary (Y5 & Y6) from 12:00pm until 3.00pm

Limits:
Each school may enter upto a maximum of 10 students per year group, of which there can be no more than 5 of each gender:

Yr 5: 1km Run; 3km Bike; 75m Swim
Yr 6: 1km Run; 3km Bike; 75m Swim
Yr 7: 1.5km Run, 4km bike, 150m swim
Yr 8: 1.5km Run, 4km bike, 150m swim

Cost:
$3 Per individual, this is to be paid to your school. Schools will be invoiced by the Manawatu Triathlon Club.
