Newsflash – Page 35 – South Mākirikiri School

Hopefully day two has gone well and I know many students have engaged with their peers and teachers already which is amazing to see.

If you have not yet completed can you please do this ASAP as it will help us with planning for distribution of devices if this is needed. I will be working with staff on how we do this if we have an extended time at home.

We will be in touch tomorrow with our plans and another information as it comes to hand.

Hockey Players

A message from Rangitikei Hockey Association:

Due to Alert Level 4 being in place until Friday midnight, we are prevented from playing Kiwi & Kwik Sticks games this Friday.

When more information becomes available we will be able to discuss options re re-scheduling these games or proceeding with the development programme planned to start 27th August.

If you’re looking for something to do today – parents and guardians of players could perhaps fill out the Voice of the Participant survey!!😊 This indicates to HNZ how Associations and Clubs are meeting the needs of their participants – what works well and how we can further improve the delivery of hockey – all around the countryside. (Takes about 10-12minutes)

School Closed due to Covid restrictions

Evening Whanau,

Obviously, we are all sitting absorbing this evening’s Governments announcements. School is Closed for the next three days. Staff will be making contact via seesaw, google classroom or direct phone calls.

We are able to pivot quickly and will have online learning getting underway as soon as practical.
